SunLit

SunLit is our whole school approach to reading.

SunLit commenced in 2007, and caters for readers of all abilities. It is evidence based and is unique in its approach. Students are placed in classes according to skill levels. Lessons are designed to match a specific timetable of activities for each level.

In 2018 SunLit was ranked by the Department of Education as 'influential'. This is the highest rating that can be achieved. In fact, the Department's assessment means that Sunshine College's approach to improving reading outcomes is recommended for other schools to investigate.
